Aden, Yemen – The Commander-in-Chief of the Security Belt Forces, Brigadier General Mohsen Abdullah Al-Wali, chaired an expanded security meeting
at the General Command headquarters in the capital, Aden,
which included the leaders of the Security Belts in the governorates.
This is to launch the security action plans for the next phase and raise the level of combat and security readiness.
Harvest of 2025 and Launch of 2026
The meeting reviewed the security performance reports for the past year, 2025.
Brigadier General Al-Wali praised the field achievements made despite the challenges.
The governor announced that the new year 2026 will witness the launch of
a package of strategic goals and axes within the “comprehensive security plan”.
Which aims to raise the efficiency of the forces in confronting terrorist threats
and to consolidate the foundations of stability.
Praise for the victories of Al-Mahra and Wadi Hadramawt
Brigadier General Al-Wali congratulated the Southern Armed Forces on their great and pivotal victories.
Which was achieved in the governorates of Al-Mahra and Wadi Hadramawt,
He stressed that these successes have contributed effectively
to consolidating security and stability and combating terrorist cells.
And to cut off smuggling routes and supply lines that the Houthi militias rely on through those areas.
Appreciating the role of the Arab coalition
Brigadier General Al-Wali praised the pivotal role of the Arab coalition countries,
and specifically mentioned the United Arab Emirates.
Appreciating its historic role in liberating the south from the Houthi militias and terrorist organizations,
And its generous support for building security and defense institutions and development projects.
He also praised the positive role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in supporting
efforts to enhance security and preserve national achievements.
And the level of joint coordination in a way that serves the interests of the region.
Maximum readiness
Brigadier General Al-Wali concluded the meeting by emphasizing that the Security Belt Forces
are fully prepared to implement the directives of the supreme political and military leadership.
He stressed that these forces will remain the “safety valve” of the South
and the vanguard in defending its sovereignty and the peace of its citizens.
