Diaa Rashwan, head of the Egyptian State Information Service, affirmed that Egypt will not allow the Palestinian cause to be resolved through the displacement of Palestinians from their land, whether this displacement is forced or voluntary.

Rashwan noted that Cairo’s position has remained consistent since the beginning of the Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip. He also emphasized that any attempt to displace Palestinians is a red line, and that the right of return is guaranteed for all those who leave the Strip, in accordance with the Sharm el-Sheikh agreement within the framework of the American initiative.

He emphasized that all reports in the Israeli media regarding the opening of the Rafah crossing in one direction do not represent the official Egyptian position. Egyptian national security and the protection of Palestinian rights must remain an absolute priority.
