Washington, USA – US President Donald Trump has escalated his anti-immigration campaign rhetoric, declaring his intention to “completely stop immigration from all Third World countries” if he is re-elected.

This is to allow, as he put it, “the American system to fully recover.”

Trump’s remarks came in a lengthy post on his “Truth Social” platform.

He wrote: “I will permanently halt immigration from all Third World countries

to allow the American system to fully recover.”

And I will terminate millions of illegal Biden entry requests,

including those signed by Sleepy Joe Biden,

He added, “I will expel anyone who does not represent added value to the United States,

or is incapable of loving our country.”

These harsh statements come after an Afghan national named

Rahmanullah Lakhanwal was identified as a suspect in the shooting incident.

Which resulted in injuries to two members of the National Guard

in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday.

The Trump administration has used this incident to intensify

its campaign against immigration.

A comprehensive review of the “Green Card” and asylum applications

In a practical step, the Department of Homeland Security,

which oversees the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), announced

Regarding immediate changes to immigration policies,

a review of the “Green Card” (green residence cards):

The United States will begin reviewing all green cards issued

to people from 19 “countries of concern,” at the direction of President Trump.

These countries include Afghanistan, Burma, Chad,

the Republic of Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, and Haiti.

Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Yemen, Burundi, Cuba, Laos,

Sierra Leone, Togo, Turkmenistan, and Venezuela, according to CNN.

New auditing standards

The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) stated that

it will now take into account “country-specific adverse factors”.

When examining immigrants from those 19 countries,

including the state’s ability to “issue secure identity documents”.

Assistant Secretary of Homeland Security, Tricia McLaughlin,

announced that the processing of all immigration

applications related to Afghan citizens will be suspended.

This is to remain indefinitely pending further review

of security and auditing protocols.

The administration also announced that it is reviewing

all asylum applications approved under former President Joe Biden.
