Dubai International Airport is preparing to receive 10 million passengers until the end of December
The frequency of travel abroad increases in the days leading up to the Union Day holiday/Agencies

Dubai, UAE – Dubai International Airport is witnessing an exceptional travel peak, which began Thursday and will continue until December 31, 2025.

This is with expectations that the number of passengers will reach more than 10 million passengers through the airport during this period.

Dubai Airports said in a statement that travel began early, coinciding with the 54th Federation Day holiday in the UAE.

The average number of daily passengers is expected to exceed 294,000.

While the pace is expected to accelerate significantly during next December, which is preparing to receive more than 8.7 million passengers, making it the busiest month in the history of Dubai Airport.

With the number of daily passengers expected to exceed 300,000, Saturday, December 20, will be the busiest.

With 303 thousand passengers.

During the period from Thursday to December 31, 2025, travel traffic is expected to record a clear convergence in the movement of arriving and departing passengers.

The frequency of travel abroad increases in the days leading up to the Union Day holiday, with residents benefiting from the long weekend.

While the pace changes again in mid-December.

Travel to Dubai has increased significantly, driven by the city’s rich and diverse program of festive events during the holiday season.

Dubai Airports confirmed that it continues to work closely with its partners within the OneDXB airport community.

Including airlines, regulators, business partners, and airport service teams, to ensure smoother flights.

Dubai Airports pointed out the importance of reviewing the latest travel regulations and conditions for the intended destination, and ensuring that all necessary travel documents are prepared before arriving at the airport.

She stressed that backup batteries and power banks should be placed in hand luggage only.
