Amman, Jordan – Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi discussed with Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya the latest regional developments
and ways to enhance joint efforts to restore security and stability in the region,
in light of the challenges and rapid developments taking place in the region.
Working to reduce tension
During the call, the foreign ministers of Jordan and Kuwait stressed the importance of intensifying coordination
and consultation among Arab states to support political and diplomatic solutions to crises,
and to work to reduce tensions, in order to protect the region’s security and stability and avoid further escalation.
Addressing crises through dialogue
Both sides emphasized the need to strengthen joint Arab action and support initiatives aimed at achieving peace and stability,
stressing the importance of respecting state sovereignty and international law,
and the necessity of addressing crises through dialogue and peaceful means.
The two ministers reaffirmed Jordan and Kuwait’s commitment to continued coordination on various regional issues,
in a manner that serves common Arab interests and contributes to consolidating security and stability and achieving peace in the region.
