Washington – US Secretary of State Marco Rubio affirmed that the United States seeks to be the “preferred partner” for Colombia, stressing Washington’s strong commitment to strengthening bilateral relations and expanding areas of cooperation with Bogota across various vital sectors. These statements reflect the US administration’s vision of consolidating ties with regional allies.
Rubio explained in his statements that his country views Colombia as one of its most important strategic allies in Latin America.
