Kyiv, Ukraine – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called on allied nations to expedite the implementation of agreed-upon arms supply agreements, emphasizing that the swift delivery of military aid is crucial to strengthening the Ukrainian armed forces’ ability to meet challenges on the ground.
Zelenskyy explained that his country continues to coordinate with its international partners to ensure the delivery of military equipment, air defense systems, and ammunition as quickly as possible. He also stressed the importance of fulfilling the commitments made during recent international meetings.
The Ukrainian president noted that continued military support from allies contributes to strengthening Ukraine’s ability to protect its territory and defend civilians, stressing that the current situation requires a swift and effective response to the rapidly evolving situation on the battlefronts.
Zelensky’s remarks come as fighting continues between Ukrainian and Russian forces. Meanwhile, Western efforts are underway to bolster military support for Kyiv, alongside diplomatic initiatives aimed at containing the crisis and finding ways to end the conflict.
