Kuwait City, Kuwait – The Kuwaiti army announced that one worker was injured and material damage was caused when a Kuwait Oil Company drilling platform was targeted by a drone.

This incident is the latest development in the escalating security tensions in the region.

A worker on an oil drilling platform was injured

The Kuwait military stated that a drone attack targeted a Kuwait Oil Company drilling platform,

injuring one worker. The attack also caused material damage to the site.

The statement did not specify the nature of the worker’s injuries or the extent of the damage to the platform.

Meanwhile, relevant authorities have begun investigating the incident and taking the necessary measures.

Targeting border posts

The Kuwait army indicated that three border posts were also attacked,

resulting in material damage, but no casualties were reported at those locations.

Authorities confirmed that security and military agencies are monitoring the situation

and are working to assess the extent of the damage and strengthen security measures at the targeted sites.

Security monitoring of developments

These attacks come amid escalating regional tensions. A state of alert remains in effect in

several countries in the region in anticipation of any further security repercussions.

No official statement has yet been issued identifying the perpetrators of the attacks.

Meanwhile, Kuwait authorities are continuing their investigation into the incident

and taking the necessary measures to protect vital installations and border facilities.
