Political agreement between Kyiv and Washington
Zelenskyy said that Ukraine and the United States had reached a political
understanding on granting licenses for the production of Patriot missiles.
He also noted that the talks had moved to the stage of discussing technical details and implementation mechanisms.
He explained that the agreement represents an important step in strengthening defense cooperation
between the two countries. The agreement also bolsters Ukraine’s air defense capabilities.
Delivery of interceptor missiles soon
The Ukrainian president added that his country will receive
important PAC-3 interceptor missiles from the United States in the coming days.
These missiles are used as part of the Patriot air defense system.
He indicated that these missiles will contribute to strengthening Ukraine’s ability to counter air attacks.

Strengthening defense cooperation
The announcement comes days after US President Donald Trump confirmed his support
for allowing Ukraine to produce Patriot missiles domestically,
as part of expanding military cooperation between Washington and Kyiv.
