It also called for adherence to the agreement reached between the United States and Iran.

Condemnation of the attacks in the Gulf

The Britain Foreign Office expressed its concern over recent security developments in the region,

emphasizing that the attacks in Bahrain and Kuwait, in addition to threats to maritime security in the Strait of Hormuz,

represent a dangerous escalation that threatens regional stability and international security.

London stated that protecting vital sea lanes and ensuring freedom of navigation

and international trade are crucial, as they are fundamental pillars of global security and the economy.

Call to implement the US-Iran agreement

The Britain Foreign Office stressed the need for full adherence to the US-Iran agreement and for working towards its implementation.

It considered the agreement an important opportunity to reduce tensions

and prevent the region from sliding into further escalation.

It indicated that diplomatic solutions and dialogue remain the best way

to address differences and promote regional stability.

It also called on all parties to exercise restraint and avoid any steps that could exacerbate the situation.

Support for regional stability

The Britain government reiterated its support for international efforts to promote security and stability in the Middle East.

It affirmed its readiness to work with regional and international partners to maintain the region’s security and protect shared interests.

It also stressed the importance of respecting international law and the sovereignty of states,

and of addressing crises through political and diplomatic channels.

All of this contributes to consolidating security and stability and achieving lasting peace in the region.
