Tel Aviv, Israel – Israeli Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir said the army has succeeded in weakening Hezbollah. He also described it as the main center of gravity for the Iranian-backed axis in the region.
Unprecedented damage to Iran
The Israeli Chief of Staff added that Israel had inflicted, in his words, unprecedented damage on Iran and its axis.
He also noted that recent developments on the ground had significantly diminished the capabilities of Israel’s adversaries.
Zamir explained that the bulk of the Israeli army’s capabilities and resources
are currently concentrated on the northern front, referring to the border with Lebanon.
He also affirmed the continuation of military preparations to counter potential threats.
Field operations continue
The Israeli Chief of Staff confirmed that Israeli forces are continuing their field operations.
They are using firepower to target what he described as terrorist infrastructure.
They are also continuing to eliminate threats on Israel’s northern border.
