Gaza – Palestine — The Palestinian Committee for Gaza Management has affirmed its absolute refusal to interact or coordinate with any armed militias stationed in the eastern districts of the Gaza Strip. Moreover, it underscored that its core duties, administrative functions, and legal mandates extend seamlessly across all territories of the enclave. There are no exceptions to this rule.
Rejecting De Facto Realities Outside Approved Frameworks
In official statements, the committee declared it will not engage under any circumstances with any armed groups or factions operating outside sanctioned and approved frameworks. The governing body re-asserted its firm commitment to a unified civil administration across the entire strip. Furthermore, it discarded any attempts aimed at imposing localized, de facto realities on the ground. The committee clarified that its organizational and administrative responsibilities encompass all areas of the Gaza Strip. It operates under the inviolable principle of Palestinian territorial integrity. In addition, it dismisses any transitional arrangements that compromise this baseline unity.
Definitive Refutal of Gaza Division Schemes
Furthermore, the committee categorically denied recent media speculation concerning its alleged approval of partitioning the Gaza Strip into separate eastern and western zones. It emphasized that such reports are entirely baseless. These do not reflect any official pacts, understandings, or backroom negotiations.
The committee added that its position remains resolute in preserving the geographical, political, and administrative integrity of Gaza. Moreover, it urged the public and media outlets not to follow unsourced rumors and inaccurate, targeted reports concerning the future governance and administration of the Gaza Strip in the upcoming phase. Instead, it advised to verify all updates directly through official committee briefs.
