Washington, DC – US President Donald Trump defended the “dancing ballroom” project at the White House, asserting that it would not burden the public budget. He stated that it was being fully funded by his own money, as part of what he described as his support for preserving and enhancing the historic character of the presidential residence.

Trump explained that the project aims to create an elegant ceremonial space within the White House for use in official events and grand receptions. He also indicated that the idea is part of a vision to modernize certain facilities within the residence without relying on taxpayer funds.

He added that the controversy surrounding the project is “exaggerated,” emphasizing that the ballroom will serve as a “symbolic shield” reflecting the power and prestige of the White House. Furthermore, it will be an architectural addition with a ceremonial character befitting major diplomatic occasions.
