Highlights
  • Urgent Chinese Call for De-escalation and Direct Dialogue
  • Supporting Political Solutions and International Mediation to Prevent Open Confrontation

Beijing, China – The Chinese Foreign Minister confirmed that the top priority at the current stage is to push the United States and Iran back to the negotiating table immediately. This call comes amid escalating regional tensions and increasing international fears of a widening conflict in the Middle East. Accordingly, the China’s stance on US-Iran tensions represents a fundamental pillar calling for the dominance of political and diplomatic solutions while avoiding any military escalation that could threaten global security stability and energy markets.

Urgent Chinese Call for De-escalation and Direct Dialogue

In official statements, the Chinese Minister stressed the need for urgent and practical steps to reduce tensions, considering direct dialogue between Washington and Tehran as the only and most effective path to addressing core disputes. Obviously, Beijing views continued escalation as a means to complicate the situation and increase risks to regional and international security. As a result, China demands that relevant parties engage in a transparent political process that ensures the rights of all parties and leads to sustainable de-escalation.

Supporting Political Solutions and International Mediation to Prevent Open Confrontation

Beijing confirmed its full support for all international efforts aimed at reviving the negotiating path and settling outstanding issues through official diplomatic channels. Certainly, the growing international concern over the repercussions of this conflict is pushing major powers, led by China, to play a mediating role to bridge viewpoints. Accordingly, China’s stance on US-Iran tensions aims to prevent the current crisis from turning into an open confrontation, while calling on all parties to exercise maximum restraint and avoid provocative actions that could fuel the situation.
