Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – Their Highnesses, Excellencies and Excellencies the Foreign Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the State of Kuwait, the Lebanese Republic, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the State of Qatar, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Syrian Arab Republic, the Republic of Turkey, and the United Arab Emirates held a consultative ministerial meeting on Wednesday in Riyadh regarding the Iranian attacks.

Research on Iranian attacks

The attendees discussed Iranian attacks on the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Republic of Azerbaijan, and the Republic of Turkey.

They affirmed their condemnation and denunciation of these deliberate Iranian attacks with ballistic missiles and drones.

Which targeted residential areas and civilian infrastructure, including oil facilities, water desalination plants, airports, residential facilities, and diplomatic headquarters.

The attendees stressed that these attacks cannot be justified under any pretext or in any way.

The attendees also stressed the right of states to defend themselves in accordance with Article (51) of the United Nations Charter.

The attendees called on Iran to immediately stop its attacks and respect international law, international humanitarian law, and the principles of good neighborliness. As a first step towards ending the escalation, achieving security and stability in the region, and activating diplomacy as a way to resolve crises.

They stressed that the future of relations with Iran depends on respect for the sovereignty of states and non-interference in their internal affairs.

In addition to not attacking its sovereignty and territory in any way, and not using its military capabilities and development to threaten the countries of the region.

The attendees stressed the need for Iran to commit to implementing Security Council Resolution 2817 (2026) and to stop all attacks immediately.

In addition to refraining from any provocative actions or threats directed at neighboring countries, and stopping the support, financing and arming of its affiliated militias in Arab countries, which Iran is carrying out in the service of its goals and against the interests of these countries.

In addition to refraining from any measures or threats aimed at closing or obstructing international navigation in the Strait of Hormuz or threatening maritime security in Bab al-Mandab.

support for Lebanon

etc.. The attendees reaffirmed support for the security, stability and territorial integrity of Lebanon, and the activation of the sovereignty of the Lebanese state over its entire territory.

In addition to supporting the Lebanese government’s decision to limit weapons to the state, they also condemned Israel’s aggression against Lebanon and its expansionist policy in the region.

The attendees renewed their determination to continue intensive consultation and coordination in this regard, to follow up on developments and evaluate developments.

To ensure the formulation of common positions and the adoption of the necessary legitimate measures and procedures to protect its security, stability and sovereignty.
