Moscow, Russia – Russia has reaffirmed its continued support for the Cuban people, emphasizing its commitment to strengthening cooperation and friendship with Havana across various sectors.

These statements reflect a political message underscoring the depth of the historical ties between the two nations.

Official sources in Moscow stated that Russia will continue to stand by the brotherly Cuban people

and will provide the necessary support to help them confront the economic challenges and international pressures facing the country.

Strategic partnership and mutual cooperation

The sources added that Russian-Cuban relations are based on strategic partnership and mutual cooperation.

They also noted that Moscow is keen to develop cooperation with Havana in the areas of economy, energy, and trade.

And they further emphasized that Russia views Cuba as an important partner in Latin America.

They explained that strengthening cooperation between the two countries is

a significant step toward supporting stability and development in the region.

This stance comes at a time when Moscow is seeking to expand its international relations.

It aims to bolster its partnerships with a number of countries, given the political

and economic shifts the international system has witnessed recently.
