Tel Aviv, Israel – A senior Israeli official asserted that Iran “will not surrender easily.” He indicated that the ongoing military operations are gradually approaching the objectives Israel has set for itself in its confrontation with Tehran. This comes amidst the continued escalation in the region.

The official, in remarks carried by Israeli media, stated that the Israeli political and military leadership understands that the conflict with Iran could be protracted. This is due to what he described as Tehran’s intertwined influence across several regional fronts through its allies and affiliated armed groups.

He added that the recent military strikes had achieved what he described as “tangible” results, particularly in weakening missile and drone capabilities. He affirmed that the Israeli army continues to conduct operations targeting sites believed to be linked to the Iranian military infrastructure.

He indicated that Israel is not seeking a protracted war, but is prepared to deal with various possible scenarios. This includes expanding the scope of operations if the threats persist, he said.

These statements come at a time of escalating military tensions in the region. Simultaneously, there are growing international concerns about the confrontation widening and potentially escalating into a broader regional conflict with significant repercussions for regional security and the global economy.
