Abu Dhabi, UAE – The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed on Tuesday its categorical rejection of the baseless and misleading claims published by Bloomberg regarding the UAE’s advanced defense capabilities.

The ministry explained that these claims constitute a clear distortion of the high level of readiness, technological development and operational preparedness that the country enjoys.

She stressed the importance of adhering to journalistic professionalism and the need to obtain information from reliable official sources before publishing inaccurate reports.

The ministry affirmed that the UAE possesses diverse, integrated, and multi-layered air defense systems capable of effectively countering various aerial threats. These short-, medium-, and long-range systems provide comprehensive protection for the country’s airspace.

The ministry affirmed that the UAE possesses a strategic stockpile of munitions that ensures the sustainability of its interception and response capabilities, while maintaining full readiness to protect its national security and preserve its sovereignty.

The ministry reiterated that the UAE’s advanced defense capabilities, operational readiness and integrated defense system remain firm and unaffected.

The ministry concluded its statement by emphasizing that the safety and security of citizens, residents and visitors will always remain an absolute priority.
