  • An appeal to the international community

Hadhramaut, Yemen – The “Hadhramaut Tribes Alliance” issued an important and decisive statement today, Friday, regarding the rapidly escalating military developments in the governorate.

He declared his categorical and absolute rejection of the use of

military force or the threat of it as a tool for resolving internal disputes.

He warned of the repercussions of sliding into armed conflicts that threaten social peace.

No to the “force and fire” equation

The alliance stressed in its statement that the “takeover of camps” and the changing of the map of

military influence cannot be done through the language of force and fire.

Rather, it must be subject to the established legal frameworks and administrative and military agreements.

The statement called for an immediate halt to all escalatory actions,

stressing that stability cannot be achieved through “policies of forced imposition”.

Rather, it is by responding to the aspirations of the people of Hadhramaut

to manage their affairs and secure their governorate.

welcomed the recent fraternal understandings

In a move that reinforces efforts to de-escalate tensions,

the Hadhramaut Tribal Alliance welcomed the recent fraternal agreements and understandings

between the Homeland Shield Forces and the Southern Forces.

Describing it as a “gesture of hope” to strengthen unity and direct efforts towards common goals,

Protecting security gains away from side conflicts that only serve those lying in wait for the governorate.

The state’s compass points north

The alliance reminded all parties that preserving the prestige of the state

and its legal status begins with “liberating the northern governorates from the Houthi militias.”

He believes that the depletion of forces in conflicts within

the liberated areas weakens the national front to confront the Iranian project.

An appeal to the international community

The alliance concluded its statement with an urgent appeal

to the international community, the Arab coalition, and regional organizations.

This is to bear their legal and moral responsibilities towards what is happening in Hadhramaut.

The alliance deemed rapid intervention to calm the situation an “absolute necessity”.

This is to prevent a large-scale confrontation that could affect regional and international security and stability.
