Amman, Jordan – Jordan condemned the Iranian attacks targeting Kuwait with missiles and drones. It affirmed its rejection and denunciation of these attacks,

describing them as a blatant violation of Kuwait’s sovereignty and a direct threat to its security and stability.

The Jordanian government emphasized its full solidarity with Kuwait in confronting any threats to its national security.

It also stressed its support for all measures taken by the Gulf state to protect its territory and ensure the safety of its citizens.

Arab rejection of the attacks

Amman stressed that targeting Arab countries with missiles and drones constitutes

a dangerous escalation that will increase tensions in the region.

It called for respect for the sovereignty of states and non-interference in their internal affairs.

It affirmed that Kuwait’s security is an integral part

of the security of the Arab region.

It also clarified that any attack on Kuwait threatens regional stability and undermines efforts to de-escalate tensions.

Jordan called for restraint and for working to avoid further military escalation.

It urged the international community to take action to prevent the conflict in the region from spreading.

Escalating tensions in the region

Jordan also emphasized the importance of adhering to international law and the UN Charter,

which guarantees the protection of state sovereignty and the preservation of regional peace and security.

This Jordanian stance comes amid escalating regional tensions

and an exchange of accusations regarding the recent missile and drone attacks in the region.

Several Arab and Gulf states are closely monitoring security developments.

This comes amid concerns about the potential for wider confrontations and their impact on the security and stability of the region.
