Cairo, Egypt – Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi affirmed Cairo’s categorical rejection of any attempts to displace the Palestinian people from their land.

He stressed the need to immediately begin the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip

and the return of normal life to its residents.

Sisi’s remarks came during a phone call he received today

from King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa,

King of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

It addressed the overall bilateral relations

between the two countries and ways to strengthen them in various fields.

This serves common interests and strengthens Arab solidarity.

The official spokesperson for the Presidency explained

that the call touched on developments in the regional situation

Especially the situation in the Gaza Strip,

The two leaders stressed the need for full implementation of the ceasefire agreement.

And to ensure the urgent and unhindered entry of humanitarian aid.

Both sides also affirmed their categorical rejection of any plans

or actions aimed at displacing Palestinians from their lands.

They pointed out that the Palestinian issue will remain

at the forefront of Arab and international priorities.

Sisi and King Hamad agreed on the importance of adhering to

the relevant international resolutions

to achieve a just and comprehensive peace.

They affirmed the continuation of joint coordination between Cairo

and Manama in light of the current regional circumstances.

This strengthens the unity of the Arab position

and preserves the interests of the peoples of the region.
