Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – Turki Al-Sheikh, Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority in Saudi Arabia, celebrated the massive success of the film *7Dogs* after it set a new box-office record, becoming the highest-grossing film in the history of Egyptian cinema within its first 60 days of release.
Record-breaking revenues
Turki Al-Sheikh posted an image on his official Facebook account revealing the film’s total revenue—which reached 258,703,858 EGP—and commented: “A new figure, a new milestone… 7DOGS… 258,703,858 EGP—the highest-grossing film in the history of Egyptian cinema within 60 days… Thank you to everyone who believed in and supported this project… Praise be to God… and the best is yet to come.” The film continues to achieve exceptional figures since its release, cementing its status as one of the most successful cinematic works in the history of Egyptian cinema in terms of box-office revenue.
Plot of the film *7 Dogs*
The film centers on Khaled Al-Azazi, an Interpol agent who finds himself compelled to collaborate with Ghali Abu Daoud—a member of the “Seven Dogs” gang—on a joint mission to confront an international drug trafficking network, a partnership that leads them into a series of chases and complex crises.
