Carthage, Tunisia – The 60th edition of the Carthage International Festival kicks off on July 16 and runs until August 19 at the Roman Theatre of Carthage. The event features a program of 20 artistic and cultural evenings, bringing together stars from Tunisia and the Arab world alongside a number of international names.

Tunisian singer Saber Rebaï will open the festival’s events on July 16, marking a strong start to a celebratory edition with a special significance, as it is the 60th edition in the history of the Carthage International Festival.
A distinctive Maghrebi presence
The program features a remarkable lineup of stars from the Maghreb region: Cheb Khaled will perform on July 18, followed by Tunisian singer Nordo on July 21. Yousra Mahnouch will headline a concert on July 28, alongside performances by Nabihah Karaouli on August 13 and Amina Fakhet on August 17. The program extends beyond musical concerts; on July 22, the show “Symphonies… 60 Years of Tunisian Music” will be presented. Additionally, a special Tunisian-themed evening will take place on July 25 to mark Republic Day, and Moez Toumi will present the play “Al-Qahramana” on July 26.
International stars on the Carthage stage
The new season also welcomes a host of international acts: The Jacksons will perform on July 20, followed by global star Angélique Kidjo from Benin on July 23; the Italian production *Tierra Bendita* (Blessed Land) will be presented on July 30, and the Italian group Rondò Veneziano will perform on August 4.
Stars of the Arab World
The festival hosts an elite lineup of Arab singing stars: Sami Yusuf performs on August 1, and Lebanese singer Rayan presents a charity concert on August 2. Mayada El Hennawy and Mohamed Khairy will perform together on August 6, followed by Tamer Ashour on August 8, before Elissa concludes the Arab stars’ appearances with her highly anticipated concert on August 15.
