Jerash, Jordan – Singer George Wassouf has joined the lineup of stars performing at the 40th edition of the Jerash Festival for Culture and Arts in 2026; he is preparing to headline a massive concert on July 25, amidst great anticipation from his fans in Jordan and across the Arab world.

During the concert, the “Sultan of Tarab” is set to perform a selection of his most famous songs—those that defined his artistic career—alongside a number of his works that have achieved widespread success over the years, in an evening expected to draw a large audience.

The 40th edition of the Jerash Festival for Culture and Arts will take place from July 23 to August 2, 2026, featuring a lineup of the Arab world’s most prominent singing stars—including Majida El Roumi, Ahmed Saad, Elissa, Tamer Hosny, and George Wassouf—as part of a diverse artistic and cultural program.

Sunday, July 26, marks the debut performance of Egyptian artist Ahmed Saad on the Jerash Festival stage; he will meet the Jordanian audience for the first time, presenting a selection of his most prominent songs that have achieved great success in recent years.
Elissa returns to the Jerash audience.
As for the artist Elissa, she will meet the Jerash Festival audience for the second time, performing on the South Stage on Thursday, July 30, where she will present a selection of her most famous songs—tracks that have deeply resonated with fans across the Arab world.
