Cairo, Egypt – The production company behind the film Samson and Delilah has decided to postpone its official release until after the Eid al-Adha 2026 season. It is now scheduled to be shown in cinemas during July, due to the ongoing filming of several remaining scenes both inside and outside Egypt.

Actor Ahmed El-Awady is currently intensifying the filming of his final scenes in the movie, after the crew finished shooting a large part of the events in several European countries, as part of a huge production plan aimed at presenting a cinematic work that combines action, romance, and comedy.

The film unfolds as an action-comedy, with Ahmed El-Awady portraying a professional sniper who embarks on a series of dangerous chases and adventures. His character then develops a romantic relationship with Mai Omar, amidst numerous romantic and comedic situations that eventually culminate in marriage within the narrative.
