Cairo, Egypt – Egyptian actor Mohamed Ramadan denied recent rumors about his participation in a series he wrote for the upcoming Ramadan season, especially since he has not yet made a final decision regarding his participation in the 2027 Ramadan drama season.

Mohamed Ramadan is currently working on the film “Asad,” which is scheduled for release in Egyptian cinemas on May 14th. The production company released the film’s trailer in recent days.
An atmosphere full of excitement and suspense
The promo revealed an atmosphere full of excitement and suspense, as it included scenes that combined romance and action, most notably a love story that develops between Mohamed Ramadan and the artist Razan Jamal, in addition to emotional shots of the duo, and strong scenes of confrontations and challenges that the film’s hero goes through.
The production company posted the announcement on its official Facebook account, commenting on it with the phrase: “One love was enough to ignite a war,” referring to the dramatic nature of the events within the work.

The film unfolds within a social and romantic framework, interwoven with suspense and action. It tackles the issue of racial discrimination and unfair treatment within society, exploring a specific historical period and its eventual end. Starring alongside Mohamed Ramadan are Razan Gamal, Maged El Kedwany, Ahmed Dash, Kamel El Basha, and Islam Mubarak. The film is directed by Mohamed Diab and written by Sherine Diab, Mohamed Diab, and Khaled Diab.

Mohamed Ramadan released his latest song, “Between Your Hands,” coinciding with the Eid al-Fitr and spring holidays, in collaboration with French rapper Jules. The lyrics are by Mustafa Kamel. On another note, Mohamed Ramadan announced his return to the Ramadan drama season, confirming that he is preparing a new series scheduled to air in Ramadan 2027. This announcement was made during his concert at the Giza Pyramids.
