Cairo, Egypt – Cinemas in Egypt and several Arab countries are preparing to screen the new animated film “GOAT” starting tomorrow, Thursday, April 23. This move aims to offer a different cinematic experience to the Arab audience through a version dubbed in the Egyptian dialect and featuring a selection of stars.
Nour El Nabawy leads the voice acting competition.
The film features the artist Nour El Nabawy performing the voice of the main character “Azzam”, a small goat who seeks to achieve his dream of becoming a champion in the game of “Roarball”, despite the challenges he faces due to his small size and his non-compliance with the traditional standards of the game.
An inspiring story that blends comedy and drama
The work unfolds within a framework that blends comedy and drama, presenting an inspiring story of perseverance and ambition, highlighting the idea of defying expectations and pursuing dreams no matter how difficult or unattainable they may seem, in a humanistic message suitable for different age groups.
Dubbing stars add a special touch
The dubbed Arabic version features a group of artists, including Tamer Farag, Hisham El Shazly, Abed Anani, Yara Azmy, Amal Abdullah, and Hamdi Abbas, in addition to content creator Ahmed Nashit, while Aya Hamza handles the sound direction, in an attempt to present a voice performance experience that aligns with the nature of the Arab audience and adds a distinctive local character to the work.
