Japan.. Emirates Cycling participates in the World Championships in Canada and the Asian Games

Dubai, UAE – The UAE youth cycling team participates in the World Road Cycling Championships. Hosted by Canada from September 13 to 29. The UAE is represented by Saif Al Ghawi, Mohammed Al Alili, Sultan Al Hammadi, and Hareb Al Marzouqi.

The senior team is also preparing to participate in the Asian Games. Hosted by Japan from September 19 to October 4. With a delegation of approximately 12 male and female players in the men’s and women’s competitions.

The Emirates Cycling Federation announced the signing of Australian coach Ian Crick Melvin to lead the national teams. In preparation for upcoming continental and international events.

As part of the preparation program, the Union continues to implement an external camp in Italy and Belgium from July 6 to September 13. Headed by Mohammed bin Shafi, Director of National Teams. It includes an intensive technical and physical program, in addition to participation in a number of road and track races.

In its current phase, the camp includes riders Ahmed Al Mansouri, Saeed Habash, Abdulaziz Al Hajri, Muhammad Al Alili, and Saif Al Ghawi. Mohammed Al Mutioui, Abdullah Al Hammadi, Hareb Al Marzouqi, and Sultan Al Hammadi will join in the next stage. To complete the preparation program until the next entitlements date.
