Cairo, Egypt – His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, arrived in El Alamein for a fraternal visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt. He was received by His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
The visit reflects the depth of the fraternal relations and strategic partnership between the UAE and Egypt. It also demonstrates the mutual commitment of both countries’ leadership to further enhance cooperation and coordination across various fields, serving their shared interests and fulfilling the aspirations of their brotherly peoples. The two sides held talks that addressed ways to develop bilateral cooperation in the economic, investment, and development sectors. Furthermore, they explored opportunities to expand partnerships in sectors of mutual interest, which will support the sustainable development of both nations.
His Highness the President of the State and His Excellency the Egyptian President also discussed the latest regional and international developments. They exchanged views on a number of issues of common interest. They also affirmed the importance of continued coordination and consultation to support security and stability in the region. Furthermore, they stressed the need to strengthen efforts aimed at consolidating peace and reducing tensions, thereby contributing to the development and prosperity of the region’s peoples.
During the meeting, both sides affirmed the strength of UAE-Egypt relations, which are based on a long history of cooperation and fraternal ties. They also emphasized their continued joint efforts to expand relations to broader horizons, in line with the aspirations of both countries and to enhance their shared interests. This visit comes within the framework of regular meetings between the leadership of the two countries. This reflects the close coordination and ongoing consultation on various bilateral, regional, and international issues, thus strengthening the strategic partnership between the United Arab Emirates and the Arab Republic of Egypt.
