Abu Dhabi, UAE – The United Arab Emirates strongly condemned the renewed Iranian aggression targeting the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Kuwait with missiles and drones.
It affirmed that these attacks constitute a blatant violation of the sovereignty of
both countries and a direct threat to their security and stability.
This comes amidst escalating security tensions in the Gulf region.
UAE condemns Iranian escalation
The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in an official statement, affirmed the UAE’s categorical rejection of these attacks.
It considered them a dangerous escalation that contravenes international law and the principles of good neighborliness.
Furthermore, it stated that these attacks threaten the security and stability of
the region at a time when de-escalation and enhanced regional security are essential.
The statement emphasized that targeting Bahraini and Kuwaiti territories
with missiles and drones constitutes an unacceptable attack on the sovereignty of states.
It also stressed the need for a firm international stance to prevent
the recurrence of such acts that threaten regional peace and security.
Full solidarity with Bahrain and Kuwait
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the UAE’s full solidarity with the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Kuwait.
It affirmed its absolute support for all measures taken by both countries to maintain
their security and stability and to protect their territories and citizens from any threats.
The UAE also affirmed its support for the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states
in confronting any attacks targeting their security or infringing upon their sovereignty.
