Dubai, UAE – A group of elite UAE riders participate in the Castelsagra International Endurance Races. Which will be held from May 22 to 24 in the city of Castelsagra, southwestern France. It is one of the prominent stations in the European and international endurance racing calendar.
The UAE’s participation comes a few days after achieving first places in the Royal Windsor Endurance Race in the United Kingdom. Reflecting the strong presence of Emirati stables in prominent international forums.
The UAE Knights compete in 4 out of 7 international races approved by the International Equestrian Federation. Within a participation that includes an elite group of knights of ability from various countries of the world.
Seven riders are participating in the two-star International Endurance Cup (CEIO2*) over a distance of 120 kilometres, scheduled for tomorrow, Friday. They are: Fares Al-Mansouri, Salem Al-Kutbi, Saif Baljafila, Ghaith Saqr, Saeed Al-Khayari, Suhail Al-Ghailani, and Rashid Al-Kutbi.
Knights Saif Baljafila and Salem Al-Kutbi are also participating in the 160-kilometre (CEI3*) race, which will be held on Saturday.
Mohammed Saeed Al Nuaimi is competing in the youth and junior race (CEIYJ1*) for a distance of 100 kilometers. It is also scheduled to be held on Saturday.
In Sunday’s competitions, 5 riders will participate in a 120-kilometre (CEI2*) race. They are: Ghaith Saqr, Saeed Al-Khayari, Suhail Al-Ghailani, Fares Al-Mansouri, and Rashid Al-Kutbi. Meanwhile, rider Bakhita Khalifa Al Ghafli is participating in the 100 km (CEI1*B) race.
