Abu Dhabi, UAE – Al Ain continued its strong performances after sweeping aside its guest Al Dhafra with five goals to nil, in the match that brought them together this evening at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium, as part of the 25th round of the ADNOC Professional League.
Al Ain imposed their control on the course of the match from the beginning, and Al Hussein Rahimi opened the scoring in the 15th minute with a perfect header, before Abdul Karim Traore added the second goal just two minutes later.
The leader continued his offensive pressure, with Soufiane Rahimi strengthening the result with the third goal in the 32nd minute with a powerful shot, then the same player returned to score his second personal goal and the fourth for his team from a penalty kick in the 36th minute.
In the second half, Al Ain continued to dominate, making continuous attempts to widen the gap, until Laba Kodjo succeeded in scoring the fifth goal from a penalty kick in the 73rd minute.
