The session, held at the Zayed National Museum, emphasized expanding bilateral cooperation across various sectors.

Emphasis on the depth of relations

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed noted the growth of non-oil trade between the two countries,

This reflects the strength of the economic relationship and its promising future prospects.

The importance of expanding partnerships in the energy, transportation, and investment sectors was also emphasized.

Regional challenges and geopolitical pressures

The two sides discussed regional developments, noting the repercussions of tensions in the region.

The talks focused particularly on the Strait of Hormuz crisis

They affirmed the UAE’s right to take all necessary measures to protect its sovereignty

and national security in accordance with international law.

Qatar’s support for the UAE in confronting these challenges was commended.
