Abu Dhabi, UAE – The UAE Ministry of Education has announced that the school system will switch to distance learning starting tomorrow, Tuesday, until Friday, May 8, 2026.
This comes as part of the commitment to the safety of students and the educational curriculum.

The ministry confirmed that the decision applies to all schools in the country,
with the continuation of educational curricula and activities through official digital platforms.
It explained that this measure aims to ensure the continuity of the educational process in a safe and flexible manner.
It also emphasized its commitment to the health and safety of students and teaching staff.

The ministry emphasized the importance of students and parents staying updated daily
through the ministry’s official channels to ensure consistent participation in virtual classes.
It also urged the use of designated digital learning tools to facilitate distance learning without compromising the quality of education.

The ministry clarified that the shift to distance learning encompasses all educational levels,
with technical support and digital resources provided to teachers and students to ensure the smooth completion of the curriculum.
