Abu Dhabi, UAE – Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, received US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who is visiting the UAE as part of a regional tour of the Middle East.

The two sides discussed ways to strengthen strategic relations between their countries and developments in regional and international affairs.

Strengthening the UAE-US partnership

During the meeting, both sides emphasized the importance of continuing to develop strategic cooperation

and joint work between the UAE and the United States across various fields.

This cooperation serves the mutual interests of both countries and strengthens their partnership,

which is based on ongoing collaboration and coordination.

They also reviewed a number of bilateral issues of common interest.

Furthermore, they discussed ways to expand cooperation to achieve development and stability goals.

Discussion of developments in the Middle East

The meeting addressed the latest developments in the Middle East,

as well as efforts to contain tensions and promote de-escalation in the region.

Both sides emphasized the importance of intensifying joint efforts to support political and diplomatic solutions to regional crises.
