Sharjah, UAE – Sharjah Marine Sports Club has approved its team’s participation program in the 2026 Formula 1 World Speedboat Championship. This comes after the organizing committee announced the new season’s calendar, which includes 7 rounds to be held in 5 countries.
The team is entering the season with great ambitions, benefiting from its distinguished results in the last edition. After winning first and third place in the final round hosted by Khalid Lake in Sharjah. He also finished the tournament in third place overall.
For the first time, the Sharjah team includes three boats piloted by Canadian Rusty White, ranked third among the competitors. Along with Estonian Stefan Arand, ranked fourth. And Australian Grand Trask, who achieved second place in the Sharjah tour last year.
The season’s competitions will start from Cagliari, Italy, from May 29 to 31. The tournament then heads to Kyrgyzstan for the second round on Lake Issyk-Kul from July 31 to August 2.
Competitions continue in China with two rounds held on September 25 to 27, and October 3 to 4 in Shanghai. Before moving to Jeddah to host the next round from November 27 to 29.
The sixth round will be held in a Middle Eastern country from December 11 to 13, with the location to be determined later. The tournament concludes with the “Road to Sharjah – Sharjah Grand Prix” tour at Khalid Lake from December 18 to 20, as part of the 25th edition of the event.
