Abu Dhabi – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced a travel ban for UAE citizens to Iran, Lebanon
and Iraq, due to the current developments in the region.
The decision was taken as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of citizens.
Precautionary measures to protect citizens
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation issued an official statement emphasizing the need
for citizens to adhere to its instructions, stressing that the decision is part of precautionary measures.
Furthermore, the decision was made in light of escalating security tensions in several countries in the region.
The Ministry urged all citizens currently in the three countries to leave
and return to the UAE as soon as possible, for their own safety.
The Ministry also called upon UAE citizens in Iran, Lebanon, and Iraq to contact it immediately via the designated hotline.
This is to provide the necessary support and facilitate their return,
reflecting the UAE’s commitment to monitoring the well-being of its citizens abroad.

This decision comes amid escalating regional tensions and the unstable security situations in some countries.
These circumstances have prompted the UAE to take proactive steps to ensure the safety and security of its citizens.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that it will continue to closely monitor developments
