Al Masood Automotive, the authorized distributor of Nissan, Infiniti and Renault brands in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Dhafra, cooperated with Etihad Cargo Trains« to carry out this operation. To be the first car dealer in the country to adopt train transportation to ship ready-made vehicles.
A growing role for railways
This achievement reflects the continued expansion of the Union Freight Trains business to include, in addition to transporting basic goods, diverse and high-value goods. This highlights the growing role of rail transport within modern, integrated supply chains from source to final destination.
This cooperation allowed vehicles to move directly from the port to their final destination. Which led to improving the levels of efficiency and accuracy of delivery times at Al Masoud Cars.
Develop operational processes
Irfan Tinsel, CEO of Al Masoud Motors, said, “Every stage in the customer’s journey is important, including the efficiency and reliability of the vehicle’s access to its owner”. This initiative reflects our commitment to developing our operational processes to enhance the customer experience.
For his part, the CEO of Etihad Rail Freight, Omar Al-Subaie, said: “This achievement embodies the primary goal of rail freight, which is to provide a reliable, accurate and scalable solution that integrates seamlessly into existing supply chains”.
