Abu Dhabi, UAE – His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and His Excellency Dr. William Samui Ruto, President of the Republic of Kenya, discussed strengthening bilateral relations and opportunities to develop cooperation in various fields, especially investment, development, renewable energy, technology and infrastructure. And other areas that constitute development priorities.This is within the framework of the comprehensive economic partnership agreement between the two countries. In a way that serves mutual interests and contributes to achieving sustainable economic prosperity for their people.
This came during His Highness’s reception of His Excellency the Kenyan President, who is on a working visit to the Emirates.

Creating new economic opportunities
During the meeting, the two sides stressed their mutual keenness to continue achieving the goals of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement between the two countries and construction. On the continuing momentum witnessed in their relations to find new economic opportunities for development and economic cooperation that contributes to achieving the aspirations of the two countries towards the future.

Condemning Iranian attacks
The meeting touched on the Iranian terrorist attacks that targeted civilians, facilities and civilian infrastructure in the UAE and countries of the region. The Kenyan President renewed his condemnation of the attacks, as they constitute a violation of the sovereignty of these countries, international laws and norms, and an undermining of regional security and peace.
