Al Ain, UAE – The second edition of the UAE Agriculture Conference and Exhibition 2026 will kick off tomorrow, Wednesday, at the ADNEC Al Ain Center,
under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chief of the Presidential Court.
Organized by the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment, the event aims to establish a resilient
and sustainable national agricultural sector, aligning with the UAE’s food security objectives.
It also provides a comprehensive platform to support Emirati farmers and open direct marketing channels for their produce,
ensuring that local crops become the preferred choice for consumers, food companies, and investors.
Integrated community experience
The exhibition includes a “Farmers’ Market” showcasing the quality and competitiveness of local produce,
along with specialized sections highlighting the role of women farmers, child farmers, beekeepers, and date traders.
The event also features a “Livestock Tent” displaying the finest breeds of livestock and fish.
Additionally, there is an auction area. Hajar Bakhit Al Ketbi, Director of Government Communication at the Ministry,
emphasized that the exhibition carries a national message inspired
by the legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God have mercy on him, in his connection to the land.
She invited families and young people to participate in this experience,
which transforms agriculture into a national culture and a sustainable practice.
Strategic pathways for all categories
The visitor experience is structured around four main tracks.
The “Farmers’ Track” focuses on connecting businesses
with major food companies.
The “Community Track” targets families with interactive workshops to promote home gardening.
The “Educational Track” provides a space for scientific research and innovation,
engaging school and university students.
Meanwhile, the “Business Track” paves the way for young entrepreneurs to invest in modern agricultural technologies.
In this way, the exhibition establishes itself as a comprehensive economic
and knowledge hub, serving both professionals and enthusiasts.
Knowledge agenda discussing artificial intelligence
On the scientific front, the event will host a conference bringing
together leading experts to discuss the future of the sector.
The first day’s sessions will address the role of data
and artificial intelligence in agriculture.
The second day will explore the future of the food industry.
The third day will be dedicated to celebrating the contributions
of families and women farmers.
The conference will conclude on the fourth day with the UAE University
Forum on Agricultural Sustainability and Food Safety.
