Kuwait – The Kuwaiti army announced that its air defense systems are currently intercepting missile and drone attacks targeting the country’s airspace. It also confirmed that the armed forces are fully prepared to deal with any potential threats.

Intercepting hostile targets as soon as they are detected

The Kuwaiti Army explained in an official statement that air defense units immediately intercepted hostile targets upon detection.

This comes as part of measures aimed at protecting Kuwaiti airspace and maintaining the country’s security and the safety of citizens and residents.

The statement added that monitoring and tracking operations are ongoing in coordination between the various military branches and relevant agencies.

Furthermore, all necessary measures are being taken to address any developments that may occur in the coming hours.

Strengthening measures to protect airspace and facilities

This development comes amid escalating military tensions in the region and growing concerns about a wider conflict. As a result, several Gulf states have raised their alert levels and strengthened measures to protect their airspace and vital infrastructure.
