Dubai, UAE – Dubai Municipality has launched an initiative to develop workspaces in public parks, “Working from the Park.” In a qualitative step aimed at redefining the role of parks as integrated urban spaces, providing an experience that combines productivity, entertainment and nature, at the same time. It provides a flexible work environment that makes them more attractive destinations, luxury, and quality of life.

The municipality signed two memorandums of cooperation with Amana Group and Let’s Work. To support the development of advanced infrastructure for future workspaces and their operation within the emirate’s public parks.

Modular workspaces

The initiative’s first major destination is scheduled to open in May 2026 at Al Barsha Lake Park. It will include modular workspaces designed according to the highest sustainability standards, and integrated with the natural environment of the garden.

Additional sites will also be launched throughout the year.

Badr Anuhi, Executive Director of the Public Utilities Corporation at Dubai Municipality, said: “The initiative enhances the quality of life and supports economic mobility at the same time”.
