Tunisia, UAE – The first leg of the 33rd edition of the UAE President’s Cup for Purebred Arabian Horses will kick off on Sunday. This took place on the Qasr Al-Saeed track in Tunisia, marking the start of an exceptional international season.

The Tunis station is part of the agenda of the new version, which is the largest and most popular in the history of the series. Which includes 19 international stations held across four continents. With prizes exceeding 20 million dirhams, this clearly confirms the Cup’s pioneering position as the most important and expensive purebred Arabian horse race in the world.

The inaugural race will witness the participation of 14 horses from elite Arabian horse stables in Tunisia and North Africa. Within the first category race of 2000 meters on sand, in a strong start that reflects the importance of the event and the level of competition.

The list of participants includes the horse “Khaddam”, who is descended from (the fighter of Khalidiya X Bint Sur), after winning the title of the Tunisian station in three consecutive editions (2022, 2023, 2024). To continue his presence as one of the most prominent names in the history of racing.

The horse “Nafah”, a descendant of (Norisk the Moor X Mangador), the title holder of the last edition, will also participate. Who seeks to defend his title and continue his distinguished results at this station.

The list also includes a distinguished group of horses, including: Las Vegas, Buraq, Afjan, Musan, Nims, Munib Al Wajd, Arabi Ammar, Waad Al Adiyat, Worfali, Maward, RB Boy Friend, and Gendor de Pozol, in a race that reflects the strength of competition and the development of Arabian horse levels in the region.

Through this edition, the precious cup continues to consolidate its global presence, building on the accumulated successes it has achieved throughout its history. Which contributed to enhancing the spread of Arabian horses in major international festivals, and consolidating the position of the UAE as a leading force in supporting and developing Arabian horse racing.
