Dubai, UAE – The Emirates Horse Racing Authority confirmed that its auction, which was held on the Tattersalls Online platform during the period from March 26 to April 1, witnessed a record participation of 221 bidders from around the world. An increase of 154%. Compared to the average number of participants in the Authority’s in-person auctions over the past five years.

The authority explained that the auction included 196 horses, of which 169 horses were displayed and 132 horses were sold. The second day recorded a disbursement rate of 93%, bringing total revenues to 9 million 566 thousand and 900 dirhams.

The auction was led by Godolphin Operations’ Masai Moon, trained by Charlie Appleby. After being sold for 1.1 million dirhams to Zabeel Stables.

Al-Jawad is 4 years old and has won twice in the United Kingdom. He also finished runner-up in his last two appearances on the Meydan track during the current season.
