Dubai, UAE – During the 54th Union Day holiday of the UAE, public parks in Dubai recorded a remarkable turnout of 570,522 visitors within five days.

This was from November 28th until December 2nd.

This figure reflects the growing status of the emirate’s parks and recreational facilities as a major destination for visitors during national events.

Dubai Municipality explained that the Federation Day holiday witnessed the organization of a wide range of festive events and performances in a number of vital locations.

The most prominent of these are Dubai Frame, Musharraf National Park, and Children’s City, which has attracted thousands of families of various nationalities.

The events included live heritage performances that highlighted aspects of the authentic Emirati heritage.

In addition to corners for local cuisine that added an exceptional traditional atmosphere to the festive sites.

Dubai’s frame was lit up in the colours of the UAE flag, attracting hundreds of visitors.

The venue also hosted cultural and heritage shows on December 2 and 3, which included live artistic performances that embodied the spirit of union.

The Children’s City also welcomed young visitors with a series of interactive activities for families, including traditional handicrafts.

In addition to theater workshops and cooking experiences amid great interaction from children and their families.

recreational activities

These events provided a platform for visitors, especially families and children, to interact with artistic and heritage programmes, and enjoy recreational activities that reflected the spirit of the national occasion.

Sites like Dubai Frame have contributed to attracting visitors looking for unique tourist experiences, given its status as one of the emirate’s most prominent urban landmarks.

Dubai’s public beaches witnessed a large turnout of visitors during the holiday period.

Many of them preferred to spend their time enjoying the winter atmosphere and practicing marine and sports activities.

Dubai Municipality confirmed that its field teams, rescue and safety teams were on standby to ensure the safety of beachgoers and public facilities.

The municipality indicated that it is constantly working to enhance the readiness of parks, beaches and recreational sites during national and official events.
