Abu Dhabi, UAE – Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, “Mother of the Emirates,” President of the General Women’s Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme President of the Family Development Foundation, affirmed that the people of the Emirates have demonstrated, through their cohesion and wise leadership, an exceptional ability to transform ambitions into reality and consolidate the foundations of a state that values humanity and believes in its role in building the future.
In her speech on the occasion of Union Day, she expressed her confidence that the sons and daughters of the Emirates will continue this journey with the spirit and determination of the Union.
Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak said: “On the 54th Federation Day, we proudly recall the blessed journey initiated by the founding fathers, when they united hearts on one vision that created a solid position for our country and achievements that every Emirati man and woman is proud of”.
She added, “Through their cohesion and wise leadership, the people of the Emirates have proven an exceptional ability to turn ambitions into reality and establish a state that values humanity and believes in its role in building the future.” I am confident that the sons and daughters of the Emirates will continue this journey with the spirit and determination of unity.
She said: “Every year, our country enjoys goodness and prosperity, and is becoming more prosperous under the leadership of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, his brother Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai, and their brothers, the sheikhs, members of the Supreme Council of the Federation, rulers of the Emirates, and their brother Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the State.”
