Sharjah, UAE – The Khorfakkan Amphitheater witnessed a special artistic evening on Saturday evening to celebrate Union Day.

The evening was enlivened by artist Hussein Al Jasmi and artist Fouad Abdel Wahed.
This was amidst a national atmosphere that expressed feelings of pride and belonging, and consolidated Khorfakkan’s position as a prominent artistic platform in the region.
This evening came as part of the national celebrations witnessed by the Emirate of Sharjah on the occasion of Union Day, embodying the spirit of pride and loyalty to the state’s journey since the moment of its founding.
Flaming amphitheater
The amphitheater was filled with an audience that proudly celebrated the history of the United Arab Emirates and its prominent milestones.
He also recalled the historic moment in which the nation was united under one banner through decades of work and construction, under a leadership that placed the nation among the ranks of developed countries and established a model for unity, development, and prosperity.
The ceremony created a vibrant national picture that reflects the UAE’s deep-rooted place in the hearts of its people.












Al Jasmi ignites the atmosphere of the runway
Artist Hussain Al Jasmi said that his participation in the Union Day celebrations on the Khorfakkan stage was an occasion close to his heart.
He expressed his great happiness to be among the audience amidst the beautiful atmosphere of the evening. He added that the state celebrations are an important and glorious occasion that everyone is proud of, and that the attendance in the amphitheater was remarkable and expressed the love of the audience.
Al Jasmi said that Khorfakkan Amphitheater is distinguished by its design and artistic choices.
He also explained that during the evening, he presented a group of old songs related to Khorfakkan’s roots, in addition to patriotic and emotional works.
Al Jasmi presented to his fans a bunch of his most prominent works, including: “I Love You for Death”, “Protector of the House”, “Oh Taj”, “Sea of Longing”, “Qasid”, “Reach Your Beloved”, “The Complainer”, “May God Protect You”, “The Mountain”, “The Drowning”, “A Piece of My Heart”, “In Bold Type”, “I Lost You”, “Barawa”, “I Love You, I Miss You”.
Fouad Abdel Wahed weaves melodies
من جهته.. قال الفنان فؤاد عبدالواحد إن مشاركته في الأمسية الوطنية على مدرّج خورفكان كانت مصدر فخر واعتزاز بالنسبة له.
He stressed that “our beloved Emirates enjoys security and safety under its wise leadership and kind people.”
He added that he was honored to stand on this great edifice and make the audience happy on this national occasion.
Abdel Wahed pointed out that it came loaded with a group of songs that represent old memories, in addition to new works that the audience loved and witnessed wide interaction during the concert.
During the evening, Abdel Wahed presented a group of his works that are beloved by the amphitheater audience.
Most notable are: “A Million Times”, “Story Imaginations”, “The Branch of the Canna”, “Brown Through”, “Your Descriptions are Wonder”, “All I Love You”, “Learn”, “Black Eyes”, “God Brought You”, “The Clouds Are Tight”, “I Am Your Voice”, “Samara”, “Confused/O Far Away”, “Night”, “Yadar”.
The “Hala Khorfakkan” season continues to present its evenings full of melodies and sounds.
It attracts a group of Arab art stars as part of a renewed artistic program that enriches the cultural scene and provides the audience with diverse musical experiences on one of the most beautiful open stages in the region.
