Dubai, United Arab Emirates – The Balance Defense Empowerment Council “Tawazun”, Edge Group, and General Atomics Unmanned Aircraft Company signed an agreement to manufacture electronic brake control units “eBCU” in the UAE.

This announced cooperation comes during the third day of the Dubai Airshow 2025, through the Economic Balance Program.

Its implementation is supervised by the Balance Council for Defense Empowerment.

It aims to create sustainable value for the national economy by promoting innovation and sustainability, in addition to facilitating cooperation between various components of the sector.

In addition to ensuring that defense priorities are consistent with the country’s industrial and technological development goals.

Under the agreement, EBI and General Atomics Unmanned Aircraft will manufacture and maintain electronic brake control units.

It is an advanced technology aimed at replacing traditional hydraulic braking systems in civil and defense applications.

The cooperation between the Balance Council for Defense Empowerment, EPI and General Atomics Unmanned Aircraft confirms the commitment of all parties to promoting technological progress and economic development in the UAE.

While contributing to the global development of aviation technologies.
