Dubai, UAE – The UAE Central Bank’s gold balance increased by 5.37%, or the equivalent of 2.03 billion dirhams, during the first five months of 2026. To reach 39.93 billion dirhams, at the end of May 2026. Compared to 37.90 billion dirhams at the end of December 2025.
On a monthly basis, it decreased by 2.15%, or the equivalent of 879 million dirhams. Compared to 40.81 billion dirhams at the end of April 2026.
Within a year, it increased by 38%, or about 11 billion dirhams, compared to 28.93 billion dirhams at the end of May 2025.
