Dubai, UAE – The market for remote work solutions and applications in the UAE has witnessed a significant increase since the beginning of 2026. The result of institutions adopting flexible and hybrid models within the public and private sectors.

An analysis issued by Ken Research via the Research and Markets platform showed that the size of the market for tools for managing and monitoring remote work productivity amounted to about 4.4 billion dirhams. Within a broader system that includes tools for cooperation, communication, and digital human resources management.

The data confirmed that more than 60% of companies operating in the UAE have adopted or are moving towards adopting flexible working models on a permanent basis. While about 46% of employees work partially or completely remotely, according to specialized professional studies. This confirms the transition of this model from an exceptional procedure to a stable operational structure in the market.

Companies in the UAE rely on a limited number of global platforms that form the backbone of remote work. Most notable ones: Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and others.

Corporate Usage Reports estimate that these platforms collectively account for more than 75% of the use of collaboration and remote work management tools within companies. In light of limited local competition and companies’ reliance on integrated global solutions.

Digital market growth

The digital business solutions market in the UAE recorded a compound annual growth rate between 17 and 19% until 2028. Driven by the institutional shift towards cloud architecture and the expansion of multinational companies. The adoption of artificial intelligence tools in business management is accelerating.

Experts expect spending on productivity monitoring tools alone to reach approximately 1.5 billion dirhams over the next few years.

Government studies, including one issued by the Dubai government, have shown that 83% of employees consider remote work an effective model. While 73% reported an increase in their productivity when working outside the office, which enhances the continued demand for these solutions.

The data also showed that about 40% of companies are still cautious about relying entirely on remote work due to privacy considerations. Performance management and corporate work culture.

Eric Yuan, CEO of Zoom Visual Communication Services, confirmed that the world is witnessing a major transformation in work environments as a result of the hybrid work model and artificial intelligence.
